Présentation
My name is Cyril, I am French, but Italy has always been part of my story.
On my maternal side, my grandparents were originally from Emilia-Romagna.
I grew up, without being fully aware of it at the time, in a deeply Italian atmosphere.
The Romagnol dialect, my grandmother’s stuffed pasta, visits to cousins, aunts and uncles in Italy.
These moments, simple yet precious, have left a lasting imprint on me.
After many years devoted to work and the rhythm of everyday life, I rediscovered Italy during a trip to Lake Como.
This stay awakened deeply buried memories and, in a way, reconnected me with part of my roots.
I discovered an exceptionally beautiful region, where every landscape seems to tell a different story through the seasons. The villages nestled along the water’s edge, the mountains reflected in the lake, the historic villas surrounded by enchanting gardens, the Italian way of life, but also—and above all—the sincere and warm welcome of the locals deeply captivated me.
After several stays, I eventually fulfilled a dream by purchasing my first property: Casa Masnate.
Without knowing it, I was taking the first steps of an adventure that would transform my life.
Lake Como, much more than a destination
Over the years, I have come to know Lake Como far beyond its postcard landscapes.
I explored its villages, discovered its traditions, met local artisans and shopkeepers, shared meaningful moments, and built genuine friendships.
At the same time, I had the pleasure of welcoming my first travelers from all over the world.
Seeing their amazement as they discovered this authentic Italy, advising them, helping them prepare their stay, and contributing to the success of their holidays quickly became a true passion.
A few years later, the desire to continue this beautiful journey led me to acquire a second property on Lake Como and to offer even more travelers the opportunity to discover this unique destination.
A true love affair with Puglia
Curiosity and the desire to continue exploring Italy naturally led me to other regions, particularly Puglia. Once again, it was a revelation.
I found there a concentration of everything I love about this country: characterful villages, remarkable heritage, generous cuisine, welcoming locals, and a deeply authentic way of life.
I therefore decided to “settle down” there and acquired two properties in the heart of the Itria Valley, in the historic center of the beautiful Martina Franca, the Baroque city.
All of this led to the birth of FUGA AUTENTICA.
The birth of Fuga Autentica
Fuga Autentica is above all an invitation to experience Italy differently.
My ambition is to allow every traveler to discover authentic places, immerse themselves in local life, and uncover the small treasures that make each stay unique.
Because I personally know each of the destinations I offer, I take great pleasure in sharing my advice, good addresses, and recommendations so that you can enjoy an unforgettable stay.
I also pay particular attention to the quality of hospitality and the comfort of the accommodations.
All have been carefully selected for their location, their character, and their ability to offer a true immersion into Italian life.
My goal is that everyone feels immediately at home there, in a comfortable, functional, and fully equipped environment.
